R. Keith Snyder

      R. Keith Snyder, 85, of Stockport, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Stockport Christian Church, with the Rev. John Griffith officiating. Burial, with military rites by American Legion Elvin E. Cecil Post No. 147 of Stockport, will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua where the family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

      Memorials to Stockport Christian Church or Spencer Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 54, Stockport 52651.

      Mr. Snyder was born Dec. 31, 1921, in Garden Grove, the son of Forrest Roy and Ruby Phipps Snyder. He married Geraldine Akin Aug. 10, 1945, in Dermott, Ariz.
