Ralph James Pratt, 85, of Lockridge, passed away, Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, at Keota Health Center.

Memorial service will be

11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Dianne Brokken officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or Keota Care Center and mailed to: Linda Pratt, 201 North Broadway St., Lockridge, IA 52635.

Ralph was born Sept. 24, 1934, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to James and Dorothy Pratt. He married Linda Rae Baldosier on Nov. 14, 1981.

Ralph has lived in the Lockridge area for 36 years and was a cook for various restaurants. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Ralph was an Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs fan and collected Nutcrackers. He loved being outside and liked to go fishing. Ralph enjoyed going to the Lockridge Senior Citizens, so he could visit with his friends.

Ralph will be missed by his wife, Linda of Lockridge; his children, Matthew, Christopher and Dorothy; Tommy (Kate) Hand, who he and Linda raised; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Marlene Schultz of Leavenworth, Kan.; and many cousins.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy; and aunt and uncle, Jenny and Gene Hulett.
