Ralph Kenneth Gibson
Ralph Kenneth Gibson, 88, of Wayland, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will follow at the Center Cemetery in rural Wayland, with full military honors. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the Gideons, WACO Schools, McCurdy School in Espanola, N.M., or Hospice of Central Iowa.
