Ralph M. Howell March 2, 1910 - March 25, 2004

Ralph Morris Howell, 94, of Columbus Junction, died on Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

      The funeral service was on Monday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Revs. John Monger of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Washington and Mary Pugh of the First Presbyterian Church of Wapello officiating. Burial was in Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Washington.

Survivors include two sons, Willard Howell of Wapello, and Joseph Howell of Columbus Junction; three daughters, Linda Clemmer of O'Fallon, Mo., Janet Dickerson of Winfield, and Cheryl Cooley of Morning Sun; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.
