Ralph Slaughter

LONE TREE - Ralph Slaughter, 81, of Lone Tree, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in his home in Lone Tree following a sudden illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lone Tree. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery with military rites given by the Lone Tree American legion Post No. 457. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Slaughter was born April 9, 1926, in Louisa County, the son of Raymond and Grace (Thomas) Slaughter. He married Ernestine Bulger on June 2, 1949 in Riverside.
