Ralph W. Workman

      Ralph W. Workman, 91, of Ottumwa, died at 7:55 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Bill Kanne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

      Visitation began at 9 a.m. today at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, where family will be present from 5-7 p.m. and a Masonic service will be at 7 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or Amaranth Diabetes Association.

      Mr. Workman was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Ottumwa, the son of Willis and Harriett Walker Workman. He married Luella Gilyeart Oct. 17, 1944. She died Aug. 4, 1991.
