Randall Scott Vance

Randall Scott Vance, 80, of Burlington, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Great River Medical Center Hospice House in West Burlington.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Prugh Funeral Service in Burlington and after 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15 at Grace United Methodist Church in Burlington with family present from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at the church with the Rev. Charles Downing officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church and Great River Medical Center Hospice House.

He was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Clifford M. and Doris Chandler Vance. On May 7, 1950, he married Irma M. Kneeland in Marshalltown.
