Randy D. Christensen September 14, 1949 - September 16, 2003

      Randy D. Christensen, 54, of Mt. Pleasant, died suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

            The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Haerer officiating. The body will be cremated following the service. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at noon today at the chapel with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Black Hawk Chapter HOG Down Rider's Fund.

      Survivors include his fiancee, Dustie Dahlhauser of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Rob Christensen of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Nicole Christensen and Samantha Christensen, both of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren; his father of New London; a brother, Kevin of Burlington; and a sister, Joyce Ahern of Enfield, Conn.

      He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Vickie Dunn.
