Randy L. Lampe September 11, 1956 - June 15, 2003

Randy L. Lampe, 46, of Glendale, Ariz., formerly of Houghton, died on Sunday evening, June 15, 2003, at his home.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 20 at St. John's Catholic Church in Houghton, with Father Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m. today at Link Funeral Home in West Point, with family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. . A Christian Vigil Service will be recited at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established.

      Survivors include his wife; two sons, Justin Lampe of Houghton, and Cody Lampe of Danville; three stepsons, Ian Ward of Bonaparte, Andy Ward of Ottumwa, and currently serving in Iraq, and Wyatt Ward of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Misty Lampe of Denmark, and Jennifer Lampe of Ames; two brothers, Brian and his wife Anna Lampe of Johnston, and Kevin and his wife Wendy Lampe of Sioux Falls, S.D.; an A.F.S. brother, Ivan Gonzalez of Dallas, Texas; and three sisters, Melanie Broadway and her husband Mark of Adrian, Mich., Lisa and her husband John Hansen of Houghton, and Lori and her husband Mike Fairlie of Burlington.

      He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
