Randy Lynn Fite, 66, of Bloomfield, Iowa, passed away on Dec. 22, 2020, at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. He was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to Howard and Gladys Pool Fite. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1973. On Nov. 23, 1975, he married Sheila Ryan in Moulton, Iowa. Randy worked as safety manager for Rockwell in Fairfield and Nutrien Ag Solutions in Eldon. He also farmed, raising crops, hay and cattle.

Randy never knew a stranger and always enjoyed talking with people, going to his grandchildren's sporting events, watching Iowa Hawkeyes basketball, and spending time with his family. Randy and Sheila had plans to do some traveling in his recently acquired 1973 Chevelle Malibu. He was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Bloomfield. Randy will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Fite; daughter, Mandy (Jason) Wagler of Floris, Iowa; three sons, Kendall (Amanda) Fite of Ottumwa, Iowa, Clint (Faith) Fite of Ottumwa, and Christopher (Megan) Fite of Grain Valley, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis (Cheryl) Fite of Fairfield, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services and visitation were held on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Charles Courtney officiating. Burial was at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield.
