Ray G. Scarff October 27, 1925 - November 9, 2003

      Ray G. Scarff, 78, of Trenton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at his home in Trenton.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13 at the Trenton Missionary Church. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Trenton Missionary Church.

      Survivors include his wife; a son, Ron and his wife Wendy Scarff of Wayland; a daughter, Sharon Scarff of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Glenn and his wife Delores Scarff of Lake Ozark, Mo.; two sisters, Evelyn Graber of Elkhart, Ind., and Bernice and her husband Mac Callis of Holecomb, Ark.; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law.
