Ray Lester Draper
The Rev. Ray Lester Draper, 72, of Sutherland, formerly of Shambaugh, died on Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Cherokee.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Church of God in Shambaugh, with the Revs. Michael Hyde, Bob Eatherton and Ralph Draper officiating. Burial will be in Shearer Cemetery in Braddyville with military rites by the American Legion Post #98 and VFW Post #9230 of Clarinda. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14 at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda. A memorial has been established.
