Raymond A. Wittrig

      CEDAR RAPIDS - Raymond A. Wittrig, 91, of Keystone Cedars, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, following a brief illness.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids, with Mike Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Mausoleum Columbarium. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established for Amenity Hospice.

      Mr. Wittrig was born Jan. 20, 1914, in Wayland, to Howard and Elizabeth Wittrig. He married Margaret P. Ihrig on July 18, 1939, in West Union. She preceded him in death in 1994. He married Laura Johnson on Aug. 16, 1996, in Cedar Rapids.
