Raymond "Bub" Edwin Hoskins, 76, died at his daughter's home in Fairfield late Tuesday, November 28, 2023. He was born December 13, 1946, in Fairfield, the son of Chalmers Joel and Elizabeth Mae Duke Hoskins. He grew up south of Richland and graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1965. Bub attended Auctioneer School and worked as an auctioneer for many years in Lamoni, Sigourney, Knoxville, other areas and for the Dan Sullivan Auction Co. He also served in the Iowa Army National Guard.

Bub is survived by his loving family: 3 daughters: Wendy Hoskins (Jay) of Las Vegas, NV, Tiffany Hoskins of Santa Barbara, CA and Ashley Hoskins-Kayser of Fairfield, 4 grandchildren: Jaden, Bodhi, Lian and Kiah, one sister, Mary Dunaway (Tim) of Shelbina, MO and niece and nephews Jeff, Nancy, Daniel, and Jason. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister and her husband: Judy and Mel Maeder.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, December 1, 2023. at Woolson Friends Church south of Richland with Pastors Harlan Van Voorst and Jerry Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Friends Cemetery. Memorials to the church may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 906 N 10th Street, Fairfield, Iowa 52556. Gould Funeral Home of Richland is in charge of arrangements.
