Raymond E. Glasgow

CEDAR RAPIDS - Raymond E. Glasgow, 91, of Marion, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center following a long illness.

      Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 26 in First United Methodist Church in Marion with the Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. A military service was conducted by the National Guard. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

      Mr. Glasgow was born June 14, 1917, in Washington, the son of Ambrose and Opal Glasgow. He married Rosella Sheets on Nov. 14, 1945 in Washington. She died in 2007.
