Raymond E. Gordon

Raymond E. Gordon, 92, of Washington, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Bob Wollenberg officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Washington County or to the Parkinson's Association.

      Mr. Gordon was born May 11, 1915, in Washington County, the son of Lee and Anna (Dittmer) Gordon. He married Maurine Trotman on Jan. 1, 1943 in her parents' home north of Washington.
