Raymond H. Bombei
KEOTA - Raymond H. Bombei, 86, of Keota, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Maplewood Manor in Keota following a lengthy illness.
A memorial Mass was held today, at Holy Trinity Parish-Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in rural Harper. Burial was in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Harper. Memorial funds have been established for Maplewood Manor, Ss. Peter and Paul Church and Hospice of Washington County. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Bombei was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Keokuk County, to Henry and Teresa (Ott) Bombei. On Nov. 12, 1945, he married Mildred Hauschild in rural Harper.
