Raymond H. Kephart

Raymond H. Kephart, 85, of Washington died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at Washington County Hospital following a sudden illness.

      Celebration of Life services were held this morning at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Interment will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

      Mr. Kephart was born Jan. 26, 1921, in Washington, the son of Fred and Cecil Hopping Kephart. He married Beverley Benner May 5, 1946, in Clear Lake.

For 28 years he worked as a machinist at Louden ACCO in Fairfield, and in his earlier years, he farmed in Jefferson and Washington counties.
