Raymond Schultz

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Raymond Schultz, 82, of Crawfordsville, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Sunrise Terrace Care Center of Winfield.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Burial will be in the Crawfordsville Cemetery with full military rites by the Crawfordsville American Legion. Following the committal service, there will be a time of food and fellowship at the United Church of Crawfordsville. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with prayers of the rosary at 7 p.m. in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Memorials may be made to the First Responders of Crawfordsville or the Washington County Hospice.

      Mr. Schultz was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Germanville, Jefferson County, the son of Louis and Minnie (Janka) Schultz. He married Wanda Faye Messer on April 9, 1946 in Pleasant Plain.
