Rebecca Jean McConnell

Rebecca Jean McConnell, 52, of Brighton, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at her home.

      The funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be at later date, following cremation. Memorials to Lupus Foundation of America, Alzheimers Association or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 3529 110th St. Brighton, IA 52540.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Aron and his wife Jan Masiker of Geneseo, Ill., and Tim McConnell-Seaba of Brighton; a daughter, Ashley Seaba of Brighton; her mother and stepfather, Richard Ressenden of Brighton; her father of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, connie Horton of Brighton; a brother, Tim McConnell of Wayland; and a granddaughter.

      She was preceded in death by a brother, James McConnell; and a sister, Susan Bushnell.
