Rena Pauline Whitcanack Shipley

      Rena Pauline Whitcanack Shipley, 89, of Keosauqua, died at 3:26 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery west of Keosauqua.

      Open visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.

      Memorials to Lebanon Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 521, Kearney, MO 64060.

      Mrs. Shipley was born Nov. 9, 1918, near Keosauqua, the daughter of Benjamin H. and Dott Roush Whitcanack. She married Howard Shipley Jan. 13, 1940, in Fairfield. He died May 13, 1991.
