Rev. Donald A. Johanson
Pastor Donald A. Johanson, 71 of Wayland, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a short illness.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Bob Wolf officiating and Pastors Don Green and Joe Forest assisting. Burial will be in the Fern Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the family present from 6-8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mr. Johanson was born July 29, 1934 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Fritz Leonard and Esther Marie Lindgren Johanson.
