Rev. Morris E. Swartzendruber

      KALONA - Rev. Morris E. Swartzendruber, 86, of Kalona, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona, with the Rev. John King, the Rev. David L. Yoder, and the Rev. Floyd Helmuth officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue through noon on Friday. Memorials may be directed to Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church, Pleasantview Home or Hospice of Washington County.
