Rex Marion Ray
Rex Marion Ray, 85 of Washington, died January 24, 2006 at his home following a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006 in the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be designated to the YMCA or Hospice of Washington County.
Mr. Ray was born July 29, 1920 in Groton, S.D., to John V. and Bertha (Karnopp) Ray. He married Frances Hansen, May 13, 1944 in Woodstock, Ill.
