Rex Norton
Rex Norton, 69, of Mt. Pleasant, died at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Park Place Long Term Care Unit.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Green Mound Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Mt. Pleasant VFW Post #2561, American Legion Post #58 and AMVETS Post #44. A memorial has been established.
