Rex W. Barton

Rex William Barton, 75, of Lockridge, died Saturday, Oct. 25, at Henry County Health Center.

Visitation will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Coffin officiating. Burial will be at Lambirth Cemetery.

He was born April 25, 1933, in rural Mt. Pleasant, the son of Roy and Minnie LaMar Barton. On June 3, 1956, he married Lavina Schantz in Washington.
