Richard D. Kreiss

      Richard D. Kreiss, 44, of Keosauqua, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, in a multiple vehicle accident, in which his father Arlo Kreiss also lost his life, south of Arbela, Mo.

      A joint funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Roberts Memorial Center, Highway 1 North, Keosauqua, with the Rev. Elsa Lawry and the Rev. ellis andrews officiating. Burial will be in Center Chapel Cemetery southeast of Keosauqua.

      Open visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the family present from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials to his sons' education may be left at the funeral home or Roberts center or may be mailed to the family at 303 Oak St., Keosauqua 52565.

      Mr. Kreiss was born Nov. 16, 1963, in Keosauqua, the son of Arlo R. and Ellen Brewer Kreiss. He married Tracey K. Thrasher June 27, 1987, in Keosauqua United Methodist Church.
