Richard D. Pearson

KEOTA ? Richard D. Pearson, 54, of South English, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, following a sudden illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Connie Wacht officiating.  Burial will be in Keota Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be designated for the Iowa County Humane Society, a soccer scholarship, or the Iowa County Nature Center at Lake Iowa.

    Mr. Pearson was born Dec. 26, 1954, in Washington, the son of Gordon and Rosalie (Smith) Pearson.  He married Debra Moubry of Vinton on Sept. 27, 1997.
