Richard “Dick” Stuart Nash, 84, of Wentzville, MO, passed away May 28, 2023 from a long battle with prostate cancer and several other health issues.

Dick was born January 12, 1939 in Brighton, IA, to Warren Richard Nash and Letta Belle Ingle, the first of four siblings. He graduated in 1957 from Brighton High School in Brighton, IA.

On October 18, 1957, he married the love of his life, Dolores Jean Emry at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain, IA. Dolores passed away May 22, 2016.

Dick worked for 28 years at Continental Telephone of Iowa and more recently, worked at Lear Corporation in Wentzville until he officially retired in March 2023.

He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Nash and Diane (Richard) Anselm ,both of Wentzville, MO; two grandsons, Daniel (Stacy) Nash and Richard (Jamie) Anselm, both of Wentzville, MO; three great-grandchildren, Sara, Cooper, and Tate; stepgrandson, Todd (Angela) Anselm; stepgranddaughter, Carmen (Marc) Breckenridge; stepgreat-grandsons, Travis and Ryan Anselm; stepgreat-granddaughters, Madalyn and Jillian Breckenridge; two brothers, Thomas (Mary) Nash of Davenport, IA, and Michael Nash of Wentzville, MO; one sister, Rebecca Allen of Clever, MO; and several nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dolores.

A Celebration of Life will be held June 24, 2023, at the Brighton, IA, City Hall from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will be held (following the Celebration of Life) June 24, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain, IA, at 2:30 pm. Gould Funeral Home of Brighton is assisting the family.
