Richard E. Long
Richard E. Long, 76, of Kalona, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington with the Rev. Larry Brown and the Rev. John Herdman officiating. Burial will be in North Hill Cemetery at Wayland. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.
