Richard Hendricks

MOUNT PLEASANT ? Richard Hendricks, 62, of Salem, died Monday, March 30, 2009, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, in the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Brian Swafford officiating. Burial with military rites will be held in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today in the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mr. Hendricks was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Fairfield, the son of Roscoe and Thelma B. (Messer) Hendricks. He married Patricia A. (Rich) Smyth on Jan. 24, 1991 in Mount Pleasant.
