Richard J. Fuller April 19, 1919 - January 14, 2004

Richard Joseph "Dick" Fuller, 84, of Columbus Junction, died on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at his home.

      The funeral service was at 11 a.m. today at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial with full military rites will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Following the committal service, a time of food and fellowship will be at the Columbus Junction American Legion. A memorial has been established to the Louisa County Conservation Commission.

Survivors include his special fried, Elizabeth Miller of Columbus Junction; three sons, Richard B. "Zeke" Fuller, Dennis "Mike" Fuller and John A. Fuller, all of Columbus Junction; two daughters, Linda J. Milks of Winfield and Teresa D. Beukenhorst of Columbus Junction; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Fuller of Florida and Edward Fuller of Muscatine; and three sisters, Marcia Gabriel of Ankeny, Mary Hill of West Des Moines, and Harriett Heckathorn of Madrid.

      In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
