Richard L. Damon
Richard L. Damon, 64, of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Pepper Hill Nursing Care following a lengthy illness.
His body has been cremated and will be interred at the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Ill. at a later date. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Damon was born Aug. 10, 1943, in Des Moines, the son of Golden Leal and Violet May (Le Fever) Damon.
