Richard L.V. Thompson
Richard L.V. Thompson, 77, of Salem, died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2001 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1 at Sharon Presbyterian Church near Farmington with the Revs. Jan Burns and Tom Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Sharon Presbyterian Church and Cemetery.
