Richard Neil Mapel
Richard "Dick" Neil Mapel, 61, of Danville, died at 1:27 p.m. on May 26, 2003, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30 in Lunning Chapel in Burlington, officiated by the Revs. Jack Wolgamuth and Richard Latta. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29 at the chapel, with rites at 6 p.m. and family present from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials have been established for Danville Rescue Squad and the University of Iowa Opthamology Department.
