Richard 'Rich' Thomas Aplara

      MT. PLEASANT - Richard "Rich" Thomas Aplara, 34, of Lockridge, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at his home following an accident.

      A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, at United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Jeffrey McPheron officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Richwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 that evening. Memorials in Mr. Aplara's name may be designated to his children.

      Mr. Aplara was born Oct. 19, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, to Robert Bruce and Donna Rae (Van Tuyl) Aplara. He married Irene Lance on June 25, 1994, in Trenton.
