Rick Mowdy
RICHLAND - Rick Mowdy, 42, of Richland, and formerly of Washington and Ollie, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Richland United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wilbur Morfitt officiating. Burial will be in Richland Methodist Cemetery. Open visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Gould Funeral Home in Richland, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Richland United Methodist Church Building Fund or to a general memorial fund.
