Rickie A. Wood August 6, 1964 - May 21, 2005

Rickie A. Wood, 40, of Bonaparte, died at 8:06 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, at the Keokuk Area Hospital.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25 at the Hofbauer-Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington, with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial with full military rites will be in the Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to his son's education fund.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dalton and Jacob Wood, at home; his parents of Farmington; grandmother, Christina Wood of Farmington; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Judy Wells of Montrose; father-in-law, Norman Weirather of Nowalta, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, Darin and his wife Marla Weirather of Carthage, Ill., and Brian and his wife Jennifer Wells of Donnellson; and two sisters-in-law, Carrie Weirather of Nowalta, and Holly and her husband Matt Atkison of Nowalta.

      He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dale Wood, and his maternal grandparents, Albert and Eloise Wilson.
