Ricky Wayne Himes, 48, of Douds, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Mr. Himes was born June 2, 1960, in Keosauqua, the son of Richard and Caroline House Kelly Himes. He married Deb Houston, who preceded him in death.
