Rita I. Sporkman
Rita I. Sporkman, 69, of Houghton, died at 11:47 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, at the Odyssey Health Care Hospice House in Tucson, Ariz., while staying with her daughter, Teresa.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at St. John?s Catholic Church in Houghton, with the Rev. Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in St. John?s Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, with a rosary recited at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at the Link Funeral Home in West Point. A memorial has been established.
