Robert 'Bob' Briggs

Robert "Bob" Briggs, 77, of Lockridge, passed away Friday, Aug. 17 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be held 6- 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug./ 21 at the funeral home. Interment with military rites will be held in Lockridge Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made in lieu of flowers to Lockridge Cemetery, Lockridge Lions Club or the First Augustana Lutheran Church.

Robert Briggs was born Feb. 3, 1930 in Lockridge, to John and Ollie (Erickson) Briggs. He lived all his life in the Lockridge community, graduating from Lockridge High School. Bob is a United States Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
