Robert 'Bob' Briggs
FAIRFIELD - Robert "Bob" Briggs, 77, of Lockridge died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 in Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 in Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial with military rites will be in Lockridge Cemetery. A family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lockridge Cemetery, Lockridge Lions Club or First Augustana Lutheran Church.
Mr. Briggs was born Feb. 3, 1930 in Lockridge, the son of John and Ollie (Erickson) Briggs. He married Jane Wells on Sept. 5, 1954 in Ottumwa.
