Robert “Bob” John Reighard, age 66, passed away on February 2, 2023 in his home relaxed in his favorite chair with a beautiful view of the snowy river.

Bob was born to John Reighard and Esther (Hahn) Reighard on January 8, 1957. He was raised in several small towns throughout Iowa.

He worked for the phone company for 42 years and spent many years as a volunteer firefighter. He was known for his love of Jeeps, koi fish, old Westerns, and Busch light.

He married the love to his life, Bonnie Reighard, on August 23, 1997 and they were happily married for 25 years.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children who were the light of his life: Bobbie (Michael) Reighard-Miller and their children Tyler & Andrew; Jenny Reighard (Chad McCleary) and their son Brayden; Jaimie Johnson (Richard Nichols) and their children Josephine & Scarlet; Ashton Johnson (Lauren Grogan) and their daughter Ali.

Bob is also survived by his siblings, Charles (Susan) Reighard, Nancy Reighard and Linda (Brian) Tolle.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther Reighard, and his granddaughter Jaycee.

A private funeral service for the family will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 followed by a celebration of life from 3:00-6:00 for all who want to honor Bob’s life. The celebration of life will be held at Bob’s Little Red Barn - near the corner of 195th St and Labrador Drive in Keosauqua.
