KALONA ? Robert ?Bob? Joseph Mercer, 90, of Kalona, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, in Kalona, following an extended illness.
A celebration of life Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. Rich Adam officiating. Burial will follow at noon at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County and the Kalona Public Library.
