Robert ?Bob? L. Marie, 74, of Washington, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in Washington.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at St. James Catholic Church in Washington with the Rev. Troy Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. A rosary will be held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

    Mr. Marie was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Washington, the son of Leo W. and Mary Rita (Wolfer) Marie.  He married Joyce Hammen on June 22, 1955, at the St. James Catholic Church.
