Robert (Bob) Lintz, 76, East Moline, died Thursday, February 24, 2022. Bob, son of deceased parents, Virgil and Norma Lintz, graduated from Washington High School and St. Ambrose University, Davenport. Bob served two tours with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He worked as an accountant for KPMG, John Deere Insurance Company and Inpro Company in the Quad Cities.

Bob was actively involved in several charitable and military entities. He had a passion for assisting others and study of local history.

The Rosary will be 4 p.m. Wednesday March 2, followed by visitation until 7 p.m. at Trimble Funeral Home, Moline. Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Christ the King Church, Moline, with burial in the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Jonathan Lintz and Sara (David) Sacks; five grandchildren; and siblings, Linda (Bob) Phillips. Leon (Debbie) Lintz, and Sue (Marc) Stavale.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leonard and Dean.
