Robert C. Reed

Robert C. Reed, 71, of Decatur, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

      The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. today at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur, with Pastor Wray Offermann officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. The graveside service with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Burge Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Terrie and her husband Fred Bramley and Tracy and her husband Steven Walker, all of New Jersey; two sons, Tom and his wife Anita Reed of Decatur, and Todd and his wife Donna Reed of Lovington, Ill.; a brother, Bill and his wife Sue Reed of Oswego, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents.
