Robert C. Sobaski

      RICHLAND - Robert C. Sobaski, 85, of Richland, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, in the Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa after failing health.

      A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, in Mother Cabrini Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Fladung, the Rev. Bob Streigel and the Rev. Charles Adam officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by Prayers for a Christian Wake at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Iowa, Lion's Club International or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

      Mr. Sobaski was born on May 10, 1922 in Lake Andes, S.D., the son of Anthony and Lena (Bechen) Sobaski. He married Eleanor Adam on June 6, 1944 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clear Creek.
