Robert D. Crossett Sr.

      Robert D. Crossett Sr., 83, of Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at Washington Care Center following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Julia Poulsen officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m., today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., this evening. Interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for Washington Betterment Foundation.

      Mr. Crossett was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Washington, to Winchester DeLoss and Clara Matilda (Taylor) Crossett. On Aug. 12, 1944, he married Pauline V. McDowell in Washington.
