Robert 'Doc' Falls

Mass of Christian Resurrection for Robert "Doc" Falls will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hills, Iowa. A time of visitation and rosary will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hills.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Hills Community Center. Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Visitation for Robert in Lake Villa, Ill. will be Saturday, December 16 at the Ringa Funeral Home in Lake Villa, Ill. from 10:00 a.m. until noon with burial and military honors to follow in the Milburn Cemetery.

Bob was born February 12, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of R. Burt and Elizabeth Nelle (Doty) Falls. He served in the United States Navy from 1966-1993. He also earned a degree from George Washington University.

He was united in marriage to Gyla Faye Fox on July 6, 1970. She preceded him in death and he was married to Eileen Jenn on December 31, 2016.

Surviving him is his wife, Eileen, of Hills; his sons, Richard (Nancy) Falls of Antioch, Ill. and Rick (Kelly) Falls of Kenosha, Wis.; and step-children, Tina (Matthew) Riggan of Tiffin, Andrea (Todd) Chambers of Tiffin, Joseph (Tabitha) Allen of Wellman, and Curtis Allen of Tiffin.

Also surviving are a brother, Tom (Pat) Falls of Burlington, Iowa; two sisters, Janet Cramer of Coralville, Iowa and Nancy (George) Pagnucco of Hudson, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and mother-in-law, Rita Jenn of Hills.

Doc was preceded in death by his wife, Gyla Faye; his parents; son, Robert Wayne; and his father-in-law, Joe Jenn
